The food in Kuala Lumpur is without a doubt, tantalizing, to say the least. Food in Malaysia consists of a wide variety of dishes from throughout the globe and is rich in flavor. Spices are an integral part of most Malaysian dishes, apart from dishes originated from the country, the capital also houses several restaurants from different parts of the world. Indian, Chinese, Nyonya and of course Malaysian food are mostly seen in Malaysian dining.

Apart from main meals, appetizers and snacks, Kuala Lumpur also entertains individuals with a sweet tooth, desserts while peculiar to the usual dessert which normally contains cream, fruits and maybe a hint of wine, Malaysian desserts can also be very tempting.
